| Literary Arts Department LeadCassandra Coxen My name is Cassandra, I am a writer, who just moved back to Grant County. I am here because I would love to connect with other writers and contribute to the creative community in town. Currently, I am workshopping with Chuck Palahniuk and developing a collection of short stories from a series of pieces I began to present at Chuck and Karen's Open Mic night in Portland. It's been such an incredible experience. Makes me wonder about what it would look like if we did the same in Grant County. We have a lot of good storytellers out here. Literary Arts is a passion for me that began here in Grant County where I was born and raised. In part thanks to the community, I now hold a BA in English from Colorado State University. I have helped develop many independent books, working with both independent publishers and freelance writers. Currently, for work, I am employed as Support Team Lead at WEO Media (6 years), a small, full-service dental marketing company. I specialize in website development, leadership and communication, with advanced knowledge in SEO, Social Media, HTML and CSS. I am looking forward to connecting with anyone who has an interest in hearing or telling good stories. |
