MissionOur mission is to advance arts education and entertainment, enhancing the quality of life, and promoting cultural development in Grant County. PSCA provides arts education and performances for youth and adults, in addition to offering classes in writing, painting, drawing, ceramics, leatherworking, youth theater, and after-school programming. |
Painted Sky Center for the Arts (PSCA) is a 501c3 and a dynamic, young arts organization that serves Grant County in Eastern Oregon. Our leadership consists of Board of Directors, staff, department leads, private contractors, and volunteers. All of us are deeply invested in developing an art-centric, equitable community focused on healthy living through the arts.
PSCA is located in John Day, Oregon and is Grant County’s first and only art center, opening its doors to the public in 2019. PSCA experienced significant year-over-year growth despite opening during the pandemic, demonstrating the demand for arts programming in Grant County. The art center has rapidly expanded with an extensive volunteer network, an aggressive fundraising plan, a robust action plan, and a positive, inclusive culture.
