Autumn Paint Party with Angel Carpenter

Join in a fun paint party! Instructor-guided painting session, where students will complete their choice of a painting of a pumpkin with the word "thankful" (on a 8x10 canvas) or two sunflowers (on a 16x20 canvas). Students of all skill levels welcome!

This is an outdoor event during the Downtown John Day Street Fair to allow for additional space for participants. Everyone will have their own table. 

The price of $35 includes all supplies. Ages: 12 and up.

Instructor biography

Hi! My name is Angel Carpenter, and my focus is sharing the joy of art with the community. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southern Oregon State College (painting and drawing), but my hope is to share fun art, not fine art! My step-by-step lessons are geared toward teaching beginners while also allowing intermediate and advanced artists to join in and take the creative process to whatever level they like, allowing all to enjoy timeout for art with a completed piece to take home.
