Face coverings are required for indoor public spaces in every county effective July 1st. Children under 12 years of age, as well as people with a disability or a medical condition that prevent them from wearing a face covering, are not required to wear one. We can not allow cancellations because we have to order supplies for you. If we are mandated to close again we will reschedule the class as soon as possible. 



Learn the basic constitution of a knitted Raglan sweater, my personal favorite way to knit a sweater. We will be making a 2-4 year old size, using 100% Fine super wash wool. Soft enough to be worn right on delicate skin. I will break down each step as we go.

Skills needed: Knitting in the round, Knit, Purl, increases & decreases. You are perfectly set up for this class if you have taken my Knitting 101 class!

Skills you will learn: Construction of  a sweater, how to make and use a gauge swatch, increases, decreases, how to wet block a sweater, and Two at a time Magic Loop.

Total cost per student is $160, with all supplies included:

100% Fine Superwash worsted weight wool

This class is a non-refundable. We have an extensive supplies that need to be ordered prior to the class so cancellations will not be allowed.

How fun for me, I get to share my passion of knitting with you.
I was born and raised right here in Mt. Vernon. I married my High School sweetheart and together we have 2 children. I own Backwoods Soap Company and am a stay at home Mom. I love my jobs.

I learned to knit in the remote fishing town of Cordova Alaska in 2017. We lived there one summer, while my husband was busy working, I decided to take a Knit & Purl class. The very next thing I did was a sweater class. It's safe to say I was completely hooked. Knitting in Cordova is very popular, classes and get-togethers were common, I loved them all. I became friends with amazing, uplifting woman.

Since coming home that fall my obsession with knitting continued but I have missed my knitting community. By offering a variety of classes and get-togethers I look forward to building with you what I found in Cordova. Basically, I want people as hooked on knitting as I am. I want this to be an uplifting group for woman of all ages.
