About Jessica:

How fun for me, I get to share my passion of knitting with you.
I was born and raised right here in Mt. Vernon. I married my High School sweetheart and together we have 2 children. I own Backwoods Soap Company and am a stay at home Mom. I love my jobs.

I learned to knit in the remote fishing town of Cordova Alaska in 2017. We lived there one summer, while my husband was busy working, I decided to take a Knit & Purl class. The very next thing I did was a sweater class. It's safe to say I was completely hooked. Knitting in Cordova is very popular, classes and get togethers were common, I loved them all. I became friends with amazing, uplifting woman.

Since coming home that fall my obsession with knitting continued but I have missed my knitting community. By offering a variety of classes and get togethers I look forward to building with you what I found in Cordova. Basically, I want people as hooked on knitting as I am. I want this to be an uplifting group for woman of all ages.
