I started my art education at Fresno State University, then, later on, I transferred to Art Center, College of Design. From Art Center I transferred to Long Beach State University where I got my bachelors degree. I then moved to the Chico, CA area and got my teaching credential. Then I moved to Visalia, CA and started teaching art at Mt. Whitney High School. After teaching for 10 years at Mt Whitney, I was hired to teach a basic drawing class for the College of the Sierra's (a 2-year college)- this in addition to my daytime duties teaching at Mt.
